Mrs. Wilson

Hello! I am Mrs. Deandra Wilson. I am so excited to be teaching 6th grade science this year! I am looking forward to meeting all of you! I grew up in Pleasant View, TN; but my family moved when I was 16 to Red Bay, AL. My parents and siblings (2 younger brothers and 2 younger sisters) still live there.

I married my high school sweetheart in November of 2015. We LOVE to ski/snowboard, kayak, bike, go to sporting events (especially baseball and football), and to the range. We also travel! We have been to several states between the two of us and hope to eventually see all 50 states. A European tour and visiting Israel are also on my bucket list!

When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, reading, being outside, and relaxing. I became a teacher because I enjoy learning about the world and wanted to pass that passion on. I believe that every child can succeed, and I want to encourage them to be the best version of themselves.
